In this tutorial, we will be going over the steps to add your classes in Recitation. You can watch the video or follow along with the steps.
Step #1 - Navigate to your backpack
In the top right corner of Recitation on your home page is a backpack. This is where you can keep track of all your classes, settings, and more. Open your backpack by clicking on the backpack icon.
Step #2 - Your Classes
Once you are in your backpack, click on the tab titled "Your Classes" - this should be at the very top of the page. Once you are here, click the "Add" button in the top right corner.
Step #3 - Make it personal
You will now see the new class page. This shows you a preview at the top of how your class will look. Start by typing in the name of the class and then chose a background color and icon.
Next you will want to add in your class start and end date (this is helpful for recurring assignments). If you would like, you can add in your room number and class times. If your class has a recitation or a lab, then toggle those features to on and add in the additional information. This is used for the MyDay feature.
Step #4 - Save and Repeat
Once you have entered in all the information, press the save button in the top right corner. You can then repeat these steps until all your classes have been entered.
